No posts again ............

But, I have been crafting, honest!

Good News: I have had my delivery of sneak peeks from the new catalogue, which is out on October 1st, and have been making some gorgeous things to show you.

Bad News: Because my new products are sneak peeks for Stampin' Up! demonstrators only, I can't post any of the yummy things I have made until October 1st - AARRGGHH!!! (Don't you wish you were a demonstrator now??? Contact me if you would like to know how to sign up and get all the new yummies!

What I can tell you is that the new colours are going to knock your socks off, I've already had to order some more cardstock! Gorgeous new papers (stroking them now). Funky punches. Cuter than cute stamp sets ................. ooops, I'm giving too much away!!

Hopefully I will also be posting details of my new classes next week (if I can stop crafting and stroking long enough!).

Take care until next time.........

Fun and Fast Notes bird

I told you I have made loads of recess cards!!

This one is made from Kraft CS (soon to be called Crumb Cake in the new catty) with Mellow Moss DSP from the Patterns Pack DSP III, free Level 1 Hostess gift when you spend £150 or more. I added some So Saffron as an accent colour behind the image and the greeting. The image is from the very versatile Fun and Fast Notes stamp set which I stamped onto Whisper White in Basic Grey ink and coloured with Close to Cocoa, So Saffron and Mellow Moss inks and a Blender Pen. I then used the Mat Pack and Paper Piercer to prick a border around the edge.

More to follow.........

Studio Sketches Recess Card

Phew, Friday already, where did the week go? It was my birthday at the beginning of the week, and, as it was also the Bank Holiday, I was really busy and did not have time to post anything!

Remember I said I had made a box full of recess cards? Well, here is another. ****Non-Stampin' Up products alert**** Those of a nervous disposition please look away now...............

I really like this little Stampin' Up! stamp set. It is one of the free Hostess Level 1 sets that you can earn for orders over £150, found in the Mini Catalogue. But, don't forget, this stamp set is only available until the end of this month, so if you want it you had better get your skates on......

I made a simple white recess card and added a square of Always Artichoke in the centre. The paper frame is from my stash, as is the greeting. I stamped the image onto a square of Whisper White with Close to Cocoa ink. With a Blender Pen I went over the image to 'drag' the colour around and added a very weak wash of Always Artichoke ink over the pears. I stamped the bowl of fruit, as before, onto a scrap of white and cut it out to pop it up on a dimensional.

Guess what my Hubby got me for my birthday (as well as books, books and more books (so I like to read!))? Money to spend in the new catalogue!!!! Only 27 days to go....................
