Abi's Cat Card

My upline, Helen, showed me how to make this cat - isn't it cute??

My daughter's friend has recently had a birthday and this is the card I made her. The white card base is from my stash, the paper is Greenhouse Gala from Stampin' Up! as is the Pear Pizzazz and Pumpkin Pie card. I used an orange Stampin' Up! marker to make the kitty stripes and a black one for the eyes and whiskers. Her name was stamped using the Schoolbook Serif Alphabet stamp set with Pumpkin Pie ink - good job she only has a little name!!!

Fairy Wishes

Sometimes you just want to make a card for the fun of it................

This all started with the cloud paper from the Sweet Pea paper stack from the mini. I couldn't think how I was going to use it and decided to have a play.

The base card is Mellow Moss and the cloud paper is layered onto So Saffron. I stamped the flowers from Bird on a Branch in Pretty in Pink onto Whisper White, then over-stamped the foliage from Pocket Silhouettes in Mellow Moss over the top. This was cut out and popped up on dimensionals.

The 'fairy' is made up from the All in the Family set. The wings are made up of a layer of vellum and another of pink designer paper then punched using the gorgeous Butterfly punch. Easy!

Sweet Treats Owl

Isn't he cute? Couldn't make my mind up between chocolate M&Ms in his tum, or sunflower seeds. So I decided to take photo's of both, then eat the M&Ms!!

I prefer the sunflower seeds as they compliment the colours better - and I really like M&Ms!

I used the new Sweet Treat cups from the Mini catalogue (contact me if you would like a copy) and the 1 3/4" circle punch for his tum.

The Owl is made from various Stampin' Up! punches, including, the Round Tab punch for the head, Boho Blossoms punch for the beak and feet, Scallop circle punch for the wings, 3/4" circle, 1/2" circle and 1/4" circle for the eyes.

The background is the versatile, large swirl stamp from Baroque motifs and I added a few Old Olive leaves.

Jumping Frog!

The inspiration for this card came from a tutorial on You Tube by StampWithHeather. He is sooo cute!!

I punched and inked five ovals from Old Olive and one from Certainly Celery, one 1 3/4" circle from Old Olive, two 1/2" Old Olive circles and three small flowers with the Boho Blossoms punch in Certainly Celery. The head is made using an oval as the mouth and the two 1/2" circles for the eye bases. The eyes are from the Sweet Pea felt flowers and the tongue is punched from Pretty in Pink using the Word Window punch. The Certainly Celery oval is stuck on the 1 3/4" circle and a small flower is cut in half for the hands. The remaining four ovals are attached together, and then to the body, using brads. The last two small flowers are attached to the bottom of the legs AND through the card base to secure the frog to the card. As it is only the feet attached to the card, the frog with 'jump' up and down by pulling/pushing his head.



The A6 landscape card base is So Saffron and it is decorated with co-ordinating Sweet Pea designer papers.

Can't stop playing with it...................!
